Merchants can post in the Town Crier the same way customers can — but with a "Verified merchant" tag and a link back to the stall page. Useful for hiring, partnership requests and community announcements.
When to use the Town Crier vs Classifieds vs your shop
- Shop — anything you sell repeatedly with stock, deliveries and receipts.
- Classifieds — one-off items, pieces of equipment, surplus stock.
- Town Crier — anything community-oriented: hiring, calling for volunteers, road closures, public-facing announcements.
Posting
Same flow as customers — Town Crier → Post a notice. Your merchant trading name and verified badge appear on the post automatically.
Hiring through the Jobs category
When you post in Jobs you can mark the role as paid, voluntary or apprentice. Applicants reply via the in-platform inbox — you can shortlist, message and decline directly from your dashboard.
