Town Crier moderation (admins)

Town Crier posts are user-generated. Admins moderate from Admin → Town Crier the same way as Classifieds.

Reports queue

Reported posts land in Admin → Town Crier → Reported. Review the post, the reporters and the reason. Outcomes:

  • Dismiss — the report was unfounded, post stays.
  • Hide — soft-delete, visible to admins only.
  • Remove + warn — public removal, email to the poster, strike against their account.

Pinning announcements

Admins can pin up to 3 posts to the top of the Town Crier — used for urgent platform-wide announcements or local emergencies. Pins expire automatically after 7 days.

Audit trail

Same as Classifieds — every moderation action is in Admin → Audit, reversible for 30 days.
