Real food from real producers, picked at peak.
About Parish Larder
A virtual farmers' market for the people who grow, bake, brew and rear the food we love — and the customers who go out of their way to find them.
Britain has lost more than half of its farmers’ markets in twenty years. The producers are still there — they just got harder to find.
Parish Larder began with a frustration shared between a small group of friends: the food we ate every day kept getting further from the people who made it. Big retailers squeezed margins. Small producers quietly went out of business. The farmers’ markets we grew up with became weekend novelties rather than weekly staples.
We thought there had to be a better way to connect a family dairy in the Cotswolds to a household in Kent — without forcing the dairy to spin up its own fulfilment operation, or asking the household to drive an hour each way on a Saturday morning. That’s what we set out to build.
“A virtual farmers’ market should make local food easier — not just prettier.”
Today the larder hosts independent bakers, growers, butchers, brewers and dairy makers. Every stall is run by the producer themselves. Every basket can mix and match across multiple makers. Every order goes through the same simple delivery or collection flow. And our cut stays small enough that producers actually keep what they earn.
We’re a family-run business based at Isnage Farm in Hampshire — and yes, we eat what we sell. If you ever find yourself nearby, the kettle is on.
