Finding events on What's On

What's On lists every event posted by Parish Larder merchants — markets, courses, tasting evenings, open days, talks, gigs. Some are free, some sell tickets through the platform.

Browsing events

Open What's On from the top menu. Events show newest first by default — switch to By date to see them in chronological order, or filter to a specific category (markets, courses, tastings, social, family, etc.).

Each event card shows the date, location, host merchant and the cheapest ticket price (or "Free").

Buying tickets

Tap an event for the full description. If it sells tickets, pick the type (e.g. Adult, Child, VIP) and quantity, then tap Buy tickets.

Pay with any major card — same Stripe checkout as the rest of the shop. Tickets are emailed instantly as a PDF with a QR code.

Where your tickets live

Signed-in customers find their tickets under Account → Tickets. Each ticket carries its own QR code — show it on your phone screen at the door.

Lost the email? Open Account → Tickets and tap Resend, or download the PDF again.

Refunds, transfers, sold-out events

Refund and transfer policy is set per event by the host merchant — visible on the event page before you buy. Most refunds are processed in-platform: Account → Tickets → Request refund.

If an event sells out, opt in to the waitlist for a notification if a ticket is released.

Adding events to your calendar

Every event page has an "Add to calendar" link that downloads an .ics file. Each merchant also has a calendar feed at /merchants/[slug]/events.ics that you can subscribe to in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook.
