Delivering with Parish Larder

The Parish Larder driver app shows your runs for today, navigates you stop to stop, and records proof of delivery automatically. Available on iOS and Android.

Signing in

Open the driver app. Enter the email or phone number your dispatcher (the merchant or Parish Larder ops) added you under, then tap Send link. The magic link signs you in — no password to remember.

Today's runs

The home screen lists every run assigned to you today, in order. Each run shows the merchant, the number of stops, the start time and the route summary.

Tap a run to open it. You can preview the full stop list and any notes from the dispatcher (gate codes, parking instructions, customer preferences).

On the road

Tap Start run when you are leaving. Each stop card shows:

  • The customer name and address.
  • A Navigate button that hands off to your phone's mapping app (Apple Maps or Google Maps).
  • Order line items so you can double-check the bag contents.
  • Customer notes (e.g. "leave in porch").

Marking a delivery

When you arrive, tap Mark delivered. The app prompts you to take a photo of where you left the parcel — porch, doorstep, hand-to-customer.

The photo is saved with your GPS coordinates and a timestamp, automatically attached to the order. Both the merchant and Parish Larder admins can see it later if a customer queries the delivery.

For contactless drops, hand-to-customer photos can be skipped only if the customer signs on screen instead.

If something goes wrong

  • No-one home and the customer asked for hand-to-customer? Tap Report issue → Customer not in. The order stays Out for delivery and the merchant is notified.
  • Address wrong, parcel damaged, vehicle problem? Tap Report issue → describe it. The dispatcher gets a push notification.
  • Emergency? Hold the SOS button on the home screen for two seconds. Your live location is shared with Parish Larder admins until you cancel.
